Objectives:
State the consequences of using opioid drugs incorrectly.
List medical facts about drugs in the opioid class.
Describe counseling techniques when dispensing opioids, stimulants, and depressants to patients.
Identify patients who are abusing medications;
List the best resources to provide patients and patient families who are dealing with opioid abuse.
